The Cabinet of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

The Cabinet of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is one of the three branches of government established in accordance with Articles 71, 70 and 3 of the Afghan Constitution. The Cabinet is established for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan such as protection of independence, territorial integrity, safeguarding the interests of the people and the people of Afghanistan. and Afghanistan's stature in the international community, ensure public order and security, fight corruption, organize public finances, protect public property, elaboration of social, development, cultural, economic and technological plans. The Cabinet operates in accordance with Islam and has promulgated the laws of the country while conforming to democratic values.

The Cabinet Meeting of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is the highest decision-making and executive authority. According to Article 71 of Under the Afghan constitution, the government headed by the president is made up of ministers, so the president chairs cabinet meetings. Members of Cabinet meetings include the First and Second Vice Presidents, senior officials from the Chief Executive Officer's Department, and the President's Office. and other senior government officials. As stipulated in the laws adopted in the country, the Cabinet is responsible for the legislation of more than 197 economic, social and political laws. In addition, the Cabinet of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan annually analyzes the government budget to manage the finances and ensure balance in the country. the allocation of the budget to the provinces for development. After analysis, the budget is approved and mechanisms are developed to address shortages. budget and increase revenues. The Cabinet also approves and approves the implementation of social, economic, cultural and development policies. which are prepared by the members of the Cabinet. They also discuss and approve legislative documents leading to social empowerment.

The Cabinet also discusses foreign policies adopted to manage business with friendly countries in accordance with international treaties and after discussions, the Cabinet approves international treaties in accordance with the legislative laws of the country.
